Well he said he used their cai and cp's.. I dunno if it specific for that turbo or not, I'm still in for pics, if I can keep my charge pipes an intake, that'll cut a couple hundred off the price.. I'll be good with around $2.5k dependin on results.. The tune'll really set it off. Dyno number's are Dyno numbers, but I wanna see this thing in action

We are just using their regular chargepipe kit with the MAF relocation and turbosmart BOV but you would probably have to grab a coupler or two depending on the setup. As far as intake its stock location.

lol good to know... how are u routing the stock boost controller? that was one of the biggest problem i encounter, and the BOV not opening :s.. but we fixed the bov we just couldnt get the dam turbo to go over 24psi for some odd reason...

That's what we are contemplating right now. Im pulling all my know how from srt4 standpoint and applying it but if I can just figure out the solenoids then ill know where to go with it.

Forget the stock boost controller. Just stick a manual controller on there

i wish i would of taken a pic of how i had it... i just dont think this car likes to have an external WG... or might just b me... i changed the spring of the WG and still couldnt go over 24psi... we went thru a manual boost controller and i could drop psi but not go over 24... it was weird... if im looking at it correctly (cant really remember much) it was the nipple from the top of the solenoid goes to a T on the intake vac line, then the right nipple goes to the WG and the top nipple goes to the turbo? cant recall much but I THINK thats how it was... dont quote me on it tho lol

Because you will get better control over boost with the PCM than you will the MBC provided its done correctly

Thats what i opted for, but they said that the stock unit could be used in conjunction with HP Tuners...

Yeah i think, from looking at those pictures, it's because you tee'd the solenoid into the valvecover/intake breather line and it needs to be set up with the boost reference directly off the turbo to the solenoid with a tee'd line going to the lower port and the solenoid which then actuates the WG from the upper port from the other sidenof the solenoid ...if that makes sense.

Basically the solenoid was always reading a vacuum so the pcm never upped the duty cycle on the wastegate (which a MBC should have fixed unless hooked to the same place). With it hooked directly into the boost the pcm will regulate the pressure inside the wastegate to where you want it based on the tune. and yes i have entirely too much free time at work

i have a couple of vids in my phone... but my crackberry sucks and i cant passed them to the computer... my dyno # were 423whp/417wtq @24psi... but that was with stock timing... i didnt really have enough time to finish fine tuning the car due to my tranny blew and i sold the car... my goals were 500whp @~27-28psi...
