I think the axles are pretty stout, atleast that's what I've heard.

No worries... DSS already has a stage 1. But, shouldn't be a problem. I think the trans is weaker than the axles.

You can have the two stockers I have laying around here some where. Might do you better to only have 2 parts rather than 3 though.

I just read the whole thread (skimmed), didn't see anything about it.

so what does the ecu actually limit? What did you use to tune/ solve throttle closing issues?

My main question is what was needed to get past the 400whp "Wall" or so to say? *(ie. what was the ecu doing to spoil the fun)

Getting past 400whp is mainly based on fuel system. Raising the fuel pressure was our solution.

The ECM is stingy from many angles. It only allows certain amounts of boost. It only allows certain amounts of airflow. Believe it or not, it only allows a certain amount of accelleration regardless of other variables. The charts we have access to are also limited in RPM range, so it is difficult to tune a setup running to 8000+ RPM.

Have you guys tried running the GM stage kit? It seems much of the limiting parameters are different in the Calibration. I am going to give it a shot on mine, and see where it leads us. I think it is a partial cure for the throttle closing issue. I know it will let us get near 30psi.

Good good! I think you could make much more reliable boost numbers on that. I doubt you would pick up more power, but you never know. I am not sure what other tables the GMPP tune modifies over the base map.
