I went to the shop today and made a few more pulls. It put down 468 at 22psi and then480 at 23psi. This pull was cut short by the ecm, only this time the throttle cut much quicker. There was also a bit of misfiring around 6700-6800 which you can see on the chart.

Can you guess when the throttle closed?

For the last pull, I bumped the boost to 24psi and started the pull a little later to see if the throttle closing was partly time based. It did not close rapidly this pull, but started tapering off at 7200 RPM. The misfires got worse, but it still put down 487whp sae.(514 uncorrected!) I think the plug gap needs to be tightened up. I will look into it tomorrow if I get a chance. I also need to figure out a way to tune above 7000rpm. It's tough when there are no airflow or fueling charts that go that high in HP Tuners.

Here is the dyno chart-

S256 kinda simplifies things too since its a dry housing. It'll save some money on fittings. I think the only thing the 3076r has on the S256 is a couple hundred RPM (tops) spool. There was a time when the 3076r was quite a bit more than the S256, but it looks like they're about the same price now.

Once you get this dialed in I'd be curious what, if any, difference there would be if you put a .70ar housing on the hot side.

I'll also be curious what the pure pumpgas power will be.

Call me curious.

EDIT: Damn LNF PCM, ... HPT needs to unfuck it for us.

Cams will be tough because if you lengthen the duration, the fuel injection window will be even shorter.

The LNF intake manifold is pretty good, but there may be small gains to be had.

Our kit will include a new turbo manifold.

LNF axles are very tough. They look like 3/4 ton pickup axles.

x2!! Now I just need to get some lowering springs, and figure out if I wanna get rid of my spoiler.
I just did a ton of research into the issue. I actually still have a stock cdfp in my garage I had planned on upgrading....I should sell that now..

ms3 has insanely restricted air flow and Ive heard the lnf's IM wasnt bad...good to hear.

Have you guys looked into bigger/different injectors? There was someone on a speed forum and had a company that could make them but never got around to it...

Cams are the last thing I'm worried about, especially if they're not really all that helpful on our cars. So are you saying pretty much the LNF axles will hold up to any amount of power, and/or Drag Radials or slick useage? All I'm worried about now is just making sure the dealership doesnt try and **** me and say that my car was misfiring because of the CAI I installled. Very nice things you guys are doing by the way.

I am more interested in the trans ability to take this. Any mods to it besides a clutch?

I thought the trans was actually pretty tough, just the clutch started slipping once you got full bolt ons or so? Did you ever go out and get an SS/TC?

ah ha, i see running off the map has more hidden issues in the lnf world.

under the assumption that the overboost/underboost codes are shut off, or set way out of bounds. did you tweak the optimum torque table way off scale from the stock ones? i remember someone else on here having a similar issue in the upper rpm range with the tb shutting them down due to this table.

dunno.
::shrugs::

as far as the gt30 choice? the BW turbos are waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy better, then older garret tech

487 HP

Looks like we need HPTuners to stop nutswinging LSx Engines and get to putting just a wee bit more effort into the LNF.

Nice work!! You should be able to modifiy the axes in HPT to higher rpm. You may have to modify a couple columns/rows to keep the resolution where you want it, but that option is definately there - i just confirmed it with my LNF tune...

I know you guys do FWD performance, but i would love to rock this turbo on my solstice gxp. any chance of that happening?

Oh yeah I forgot they were dipping into the Dodge world...Hopefully the do some stuff with the CSRT4...those things are going to be absolute MONSTERS if there is a tuning software like HPT gets to them...

But hopefully they do not just stop updating for the LNF because there are plenty of users that need their support!

The mistake I see here is you only want to run some of our parts, there is a reason we are not running the gt stuff, and our cars are making more power than most. You should pick a shop and stay with them, not saying you didn't do that with hahn but it didn't seem to work out. If you want to make the power run our parts and don't try a hybrid parts build. The 3076r will not out perform the S256. Just a suggestion.

Great, when will we see these new parts updated on the website ZZP?

We are using the 74mm/64mm turbine wheel.
