Yup, no cage in it. I'm not sure if I will cage it. Maybe down the road, but it seems too new to be doing that.
The dyno vid turned out like crap because the sound is just a bunch of hiss. I took a short vid from inside the car while spooling the turbo.

Who thinks I just try this and dump the clutch?

i think alot of faster cars like zr1's etc use track rental days to get around the cage thing,
where i would assume they can sign a waiver
because there is a post on the corvette forum where a guy just made 13 passes bone stock and 10 of them were sub 11 sec
and he has no cage

Allll depends on the tracks
Here in Iowa, you could crank off a 6.99 and not get the boot from most tracks. I've never heard of anyone getting kicked out, especially on the "Fun Night" stuff.

Additional injectors, a fuel plate in between the TB and the intake, or larger DI injectors. Not sure there is a reason though because other things are going to start breaking at that power level and Matt probably isn't going to hack his car for a cage. Maybe, but I doubt it.

What a problem. I would hate to be stuck at 500 whp. Can't even crank out 501 for a nice even number, haha.
Good work guys! I can't wait to see how the fuel pressure thing works out.

Didnt follow the entire thread but if we are talking about roll cages then tell that to the 10.6@144 ZR1 that got kicked out at a local track up by me lol.

Well the nice thing about ET rules is that you can slowly roll off the line for a sec and then punch it....if your objective is for trap speed at least......
What do you anticipate the trap speed to be?

I'm guessing between 125 and 130, but I will have to see how difficult it is to get down the track. Street driving at 475whp has proved to be completely worthless.

Well that will be a great indicator of how fast it really is.....the ZR1's trap close to 130mph so if you are anywhere near that, I will be blown away.

That is a very scary thought. But I think with the right suspension mods, and some slicks, it really shouldnt be that difficult to get down the track. But I could be wrong.

A 500 whp SS/TC can probably pull away from a ZR1....once it gets some traction
