ZZP PCM Install

Do you have any way to check for a code? If so, check that and let me know what you find. Email me at stattama@aol.com. If there are no codes, unhook the battery for a half hour and try the relearn again. Try to start the car each time you turn the key on. Wait 10 minutes, turn key off for 5 seconds and try to start it again. It should start on the 4th try. Everyone that reported that it wasn't working eventually got it to work, so it has to be something in the process.

But seriously, it sucks that it doesn't work. are you sure you're following all the steps in the right order? Does the security light come on after each 10 minute wait or just the first time?
If the light doesn't even come on after the very first start attempt, it could be that the relearn is already done. Once I got mine to work, it was (and still is) a little temperamental. Sometimes nothing happens when I turn the key and it takes a second or even third try, but it alway starts eventually. Have you tried that??

all the normal lights come up when i turn the ignition on
the security light DOES NOT light up
and yes i did what matt told me to do on point
the thing is there is no light, so i just turned it off every 10 minutes, gonna try it again in 30 min or so to see if it will go.
as for the codes, i have no clue how to do that
and when i put the stock pcm back in, starts first try without a hickup...
oh and ive tried calling zzp, always get an answer machine, left 2 messages within the last couple of days...and an email
security light doesnt come on at all when i turn on the car

What kind of phone do you own? Reason why I ask is because you should record yourself and post it on youtube then post the link here of what you are doing. That way we can help you out with visuals.
Just a suggestion

You didn't check for codes and you didn't send an email to the address that I gave you in this thread. Zoom got the message, asked me about it and I told him not to worry about it because I gave you my contact info in this thread.

Put your stock pcm in and drive to autozone or advanced auto then switch to your zzp pcm and ask the cashier to scan your car for codes or if you have an interceptor installed in your car you can tell that quick

gotcha, I'm gonna try this relearn process again tomorrow, if it doesn't work for the 4th time, ill try to get them to look-up any codes.
