ZZP SS/T Dynos 403 WHP!
In the interest of conducting research for our LNF turbo upgrade, we installed a ZZP turbo manifold in place of the stock manifold and bolted up a Bullseye Power S256 extended tip turbo. It is basically the same as our twincharge turbo, except for a smaller exhaust housing. We quickly got into the 370whp range, but then we began battling the ECM and all of it's abilities to veto anything radical. We hit 390whp on 93 octane, but ended up putting in some 110 because we figured we'd be making a lot of pulls and didn't want to risk a 4k mile LNF motor this early in the game for us. Many pulls later, we surpassed 400 with a clean 403WHP at 24psi. FWIW, this was done with the factory airbox with a custom short ram intake tube, drop-in K&N, and inlet tube mod.
We will be racing this car soon, but I'm afraid that I'm going to have a lot of difficulty getting down the track. The boost hits way too hard to feather the throttle for moderate power. I'm hoping to set up a multi-stage or progressive boost controller to keep the tires from going up in smoke until half-track.
Any guesses what times/mph it will run? Keep in mind that I have very little experience drag racing a manual trans car. I also won't have the luxury of having 28" tall slicks and wheelie bars like I do on the Grand Prix. I might not do so well the first time out.

We were dynoing up to 107 in 3rd, so 4ths redline should be in the 130s.
Regulators. What we really need is more PCM access so we can alter the MAF delta limits. Every time this turbo hits hard it closes the throttle instantly. We have to bring in boost progressively. It works, but the torque numbers are only in the 360-380 range when we do this, depending on how quick we bring in the boost. When we let the turbo hit, torque was over 400 just before shutting down.
I'll get some dyno graphs printed today.
