*important* for any1 with a 2005 cobalt SS sc
so lately ive been getting a random CEL here and there. what i mean by that is whenever i drive for a long time period it goes on and then goes away after a day or so. so i brought it in to the dealership and turns out i was throwing out a P0171 "FUEL TRIM LEAN". the guy told me that i was running on a outdated ecm program so they reflashed it. program claim code 105AE. not much of a difference i felt, but it is a little smoother [deff]
any1 else get this problem?

I'm a tech at a chevy dealer. There is a updated ECM reflash for the p0171 code. It's common on the cobalts no matter what motor. It does fix it as far as I know. I haven't had any come backs from it.

I got that a few times, but I think it was becasue my o2 sensor was going bad. My tech at the dealership also has an 05 Cobalt SS/SC (actually the first one in the state) and he keeps up on the reflashes, so I'm sure I'm up to date.
