hoping to break 400whp tomorrow.... thanks to mike for redoing my piping...
but unfortunatly my car still isn't running right. going to be a longggggg night of tuning to get this thing ready for tomorrow, and of course my laptop just died lol.
and Mike I need to retune your car asap after what I just saw with mine... hopefully you aren't out beating on it and get this message

Paul, you seriously need to get one of those cheapy $20 power inverters fromw walmart man. Your laptop is always dying in all your posts! I don't tune that often and I bought one the day I was tuning as soon as my laptop died! I use it reguardless now every time I go out.
Trix, congrats on getting the car up and running. It looks real nice and mean with that big ass front mount.

yeah I need to man, well when I do tune the car, I usually am using the laptop for 2-3 hours straight scanning, editing, emailing... never stops lol.
but for an update, I think my car might have just been overboosting last night, but I did some pulls this morning on 20psi, and it pulled ok, but no matter what it still leans out up top.... This thing is really starting to **** me off.
btw mike my phone was shut off last night so I couldnt call you... stupid nextel

with the new charge pipe did you do a maf tune?
back the boost down a bit and re-tune the mad with the new pipe, you've changed quiet a few variables for the maf now so you have to bring things back in line.
then she should be happy.
i still have no idea why that config i set you was so off in your car, runs like a bitch in my car.
check your PM's as well.

yeah I unfortunately am not going to be able to have time to do a full retune on my car, I'm at work and then straight to the dyno... hopefully there are a few people in line before me when I get there so I get do some street pulls and hopefully get it locked in.... Still no matter what I do it goes rediculously lean up top when the wastegate opens.... hopefully it's just because of that now.... finally got it to idle correctly just now. But the car is pulling hard again.
But damn man, that **** was waaay off on my car, I guess with the new intake manifold I'm moving a lot more air then you. But it would just go dead lean, like pegging the gauge lean, in high boost. I'm going to dial it in on 20 psi for today since the car starts breaking up above that now for some off reason.
Got my first flashing check engine light last night too... was scary. hopefully my plugs aren't too fouled cause I don't have an extra set right now, so we shall see what happens on the dyno

so the car is running and there will be a rediculous amount of pics and vids of it today

your welcome for the intercooler piping job and thanks for the info on tuning
and the cx racing intercoolers/piping kits with blow off valves are awesome but just remember anyone who does this besides for me and buys one of those kits, YOU NEED TO TAKE THE BOV APART AND TAKE THE SECOND SPRING OUT. i got no blow off for like the first 10 minutes of driving and i was like hmmm whats wrong here and now the car sounds sick and the gas ass purple bov that i made fun of sounds amazing at WOT and down low it makes a nice sound. I am trully happy with everything i bought i cant complain about anything and the car runs good and is a monster.
also a big thanks to everyone for the compliments and the help in the project i will post vids tonight to not dissapoint anyone. BTW the car is ******* REDICULOUS now just thought id share and thats only at 18.5 psi and spooling at 2900 rpm gotta love 3 inch side exit exhaust setups

That BOV looks like the Greddy Type RS. I have the same. Wish it was like red or black, but I got mine for $30 bux and it looks BRAND new. Good discount with a friend.
GL with the install. I've made so many trips to the local parts store its not even funny! I still am waiting for parts to come in the mail. I have probably two or three more trips to the parts store. This is just with a turbo upgrade.

glad 2 hear......... i am still trying 2 pick a good cheap turbo............. i am between this and 57trim............. but im worried about lag with the 57...........

hey spike.. they're cheap no name turbos but cx racing has some cheap turbos and you might be able to find a 57 trim for like 250... yea i know people flame all you want but even if it lasts 1-2 years it's good for in the crunch for the price
they have an ebay page which seems to be cheaper then their normal web site... go figure lol
