06 ss/sc exhaust

I think my cat is going out because the car smells like sulfer after a long drive. What all is involved if I get a catless down pipe. Do I need to get a tune or buy a bypass module for the 02 sensor, not for sure never removed a cat becfore.

No, you dont need one... the o2 is plugged into headers, it could be a secondary one that hooked up to the cat, im not sure, but i took mine off (whoops if thats bad)... i got a cel (and its the cat code), but its ok... with a tune you can turn off COT to free up gas, and turn off the cel...

Im not sure bout mi, i have family there, but im not sure of laws... Do you go through emissions testing>

No we do not have emissions testing. So I can take it off and the only thing that is going to happen is my service engine light will come on. The car will run just fine.
