1/4 mile record for stock interal LSJ-T

So I don't know if this would even be the correct area for this but does anyone know the current 1/4 mile record for stock internal LSJ-T. FWD or RWD makes no difference to me. I'm going to be LSJ swapping my Z just cause I can, obviously it'll be RWD and lots of custom work but I've set my goal for 1/4 time and I think it's achievable with my chassis but I'm curious what has already been done.

There are 2 yellow 4 door lnfs that have made passes (Ryan and Dylan) And lnfwagonSS who will go tomorrow, but they are all ldk/lnf's. Seems like most lsj guys do is talk smack about lnf's and do mostly roll racing. Most don't want to put in the time with trying to make good 1/4 passes because it's easier to talk down to people and do 60 rolls (which in my opinion takes very little skill). Sorry I can't say who has the fastest lsj. As far as I know Chris Miller still is the fastest 2.0 that's not a shop car. Think he ran 10.80's or something close. Ryan colons badass yellow 4 door has only made passes at 5,000ft and if you correct it for sea level it would narrowly beat Chris's time. Fwd can be harder to get down the track so not many people try. I hope to be 12.50-12.60 this summer before going zfr over the winter. Current best is 12.80, but my 60ft still isn't good.

Well my goal is 10.99 on a stock internal LSJ-T in the Z. Hoping to get the cars weight down to 3100 with me in it, would be around 2900 without me. Realistically with what the V6 did at 370whp I think a LSJ-T at 400whp and 200lbs less would pull it off.

We've made 500whp on a stock internal LSJ-T, so in a 3000lb car it should work. The lack of torque makes a good launch tricky, as leaving in boost is critical without blowing the tires off. That's the only thing difficult about a 4 cyl turbo car for drag racing.

Well lucky for me I have MS3 with launch control and big meaty slicks so launching is just dialing in the settings.

You're gonna run the LSJ on the MS3?

That's the plan. MS3 with MS Extra full sequential.

You should be able to pull off 10.99 with rwd. On my 2 step loaded I can come off the line at about 4psi.

I think OzzyruleZ wanted to know about the fastest stock internal setup as a baseline comparison for his plans on a stock internal setup.

Exactly. I'll do a built girdled block eventually but at first getting everything together and figured out I'll be using a stock LSJ. I'm going to push it as far as I can so I was just curious what the current record is.

I guess if you already have it, then use it. But the stock LSJ computer with HPT is plenty capable from what i've see on big turbo cars.

I do love my MS in the tercel though. Both have their advantages.

What are you adjusting for and how? Do you already have a formula?
I'm asking because I can push my SR86 builds faster than anyone else due to the lack of air density. HP to HP I will always have a higher top speed here.

i think the best thing about any stand alone over the factory ecm is real time tuning. it makes it so much faster to tune. its also a lot simpler.

Well I'm sure the stock PCM is good but MS is so much better. Plus the car is already wired for it as I ran it on the V6. All I have to do is modify the harness for the LSJ. Tunerstudio is one of the easiest tuning softwares I've ever used. My favorite part is no wait to upload a tune. 30 seconds for the stock PCM to upload, .03 for MS. Plus I like Shadowdash. I use it for my gauging on my tablet plus I can datalog with it and store tunes. Here it is in the car and a screenshot of my gauge setup so you can see it better.
