15lbs boost
#5
Keep in mind the stock boost gauge is electronic so being inaccurate is not uncommon. On my stage 2 I saw 14 lbs of boost and with a mechanical gauge I saw 16-17. I've also noticed temperature can affect how much boost it will show. If you were truly curious you could put a t-bracket into some vac line and run a mechanical gauge for a day or just switch to one altogether.

As said the gauge is crap and a clogged cat will cause this also.
On the mechanical gauge... is there a good way to stop the "buzz" completely. I had an autometer in my Passat and for the first 10k miles it was fine then all of a sudden one day it started buzzing, very annoying.

I think I might be experiencing this buzzing noise too...only certain times, when I accelerate it will sound almost like a ringing noise, like a small bell. It is very annoying...it started right after I put the mechanical one in, so I figured it was related. I was going to try and look at it this weekend and see if I could figure out what the deal was...
That T-fitting has a restrictor in it that will help eliminate the buzz.

Honestly you could build this from Home depot tubing for pretty cheap too. take a piece of plastic tubing with an outer diameter that matches the inner diameter of your t-fitting and has a small inner diameter like 1/8 or 1/16 and cut a small piece and glue it into your t-fitting on the side where your gauge line hooks up.
