2.0 conversion too .2 or .4

can i put a 2.2 or 2.4 in my ss bay?

should be able too. May need few different parts but idk what parts but I don't see a reason for GM to change the position of where the engine would mount up just for different engines. Probably just different mounts or something. Gotta look into though. I'm sure if you can swap a 2.0 into a 2.2 engine bay you can do vice versa

It's been done, but why? Takes a lot of work and you'd need to built the engine as well as keep the LSJ head regardless.

As a strait swap it's allot of work but you can build an lsj in excess of 2.3l and it's basically a motor swap then.. Not cheap by any means.

a lsj is a 2 litre engine swapping a head on a 2.4 dose not make it an lsj engine it still makes it a 2.4 to run a 2.4 you need to reclock the relucter and run the lsj head and it does not require a built engine to do it and this has been done a few times if you want to run a 2.4 and keep the vvt then you will need to swap an entire harness in from a donar car
