2.8 and 60's???????

I am considering upgrading my gm stage 2 to a 2.8 with 60's..............

Is it safe to run this without any cooling mods as long as my custom tune is not super aggressive? i seem to get different oppinions on this everytime i ask..

any help/insight is greatly appreciated.

why not be safe and save up the extra money for a h/e?

I still might wait to save up, but am curious if the custom tune will be okay with that set up for a few months

if someone tunes it for you, they can retune it later at no charge (or a small fee if they choose for convenience).

You'll just wont be able to run as much timing, cuz as the temps go up the PCM starts pulling timing to keep detonation down.

so let me get this straight.....it will be safe if custom tuned for awhile and i could add the h e later and have it retuned for additional safety and power?

Get a scan gauge and keep an eye on temps and keep away from back to back pulls you'll be ok ... if you add a h/e or something like that later you dont have to get a new tune.
