yeah, but stage 2 tune runs the injectors harder. A 2.9 is still the safest to go... but... if you really want to keep your 42's and run a 2.8, meth could help. You lean your car out when tuning for meth, so that'd probably bring your idc's down a little. Even still, a 2.9 is the maximum you should go.

btw to the OP i thought you were getting a custom tune. Staged tunes are gonna eat you alive with a 2.8. I know alot of people who run it and have had no issues, but safer than sorry is always good.
I will say this though.
Ive been running 12.2-12.5 under WOT with no issues for about 10k miles and beating the **** out of it. So i dont know how relevant 11.5-11.7 is when the rest of the engine world runs these numbers.

......................... please dont.. for the sake of your engine... 2.9 at the most and thats still pushing it. some people's idea of safe these days is like pullin out instead of using a condom... if you were trying to be safe what would you do?
