2.9 Pulley change
For those of you who changed their pulley I say congratulations! How the hell did you take the bolts off and keep the pulley from turning. The tensioner pulley is plastic, can't put much pressure on it with the pry bar up against the supercharger pulley with out wrecking it. Any suggestions!!!!! Beside taking the SC off.

If you leave the belt on then the pulley shouldn't spin when you try to un-screw the bolts. The stage 2 bolts can be a real bitch sometimes though, some people have heat them up, use vice grips to get them off, drill them out etc.

use a small screwdriver and wedge it between the bolts that are still on the pully. use it like a lever to keep it from turning. loosen all the bolts before removing any of them. if you position the screwdriver right the pully will stay still.

Put the car in 1st gear and start wrenching on the bolts. After a turn or so it will tighten up. Break um all loose and take it out of gear. Do the same to tighten them up.

Just yesterday I swapped the S2 bolts with Nate's bolts and I took a crow bar (yeah I know, excessive haha didn't have a prybar) and put it between the tensioner pulley and the SC pulley and then pulled towards me. I was able to do it by myself by putting the crowbar under my armpit and leaning a little towards the front of the car (not much pressure just enough to hold the sc pulley still) so it was pushing the tensioner pulley upward and towards the rear of the car and the sc downward and towards the front of the car (in terms of force, not actually pushing them lol). Worked well enough to get all bolts cracked no problem. After they were cracked, didn't need the crowbar.
PM me and I'll send you the steps USMCFieldMP sent me, they were great and had pictures.

they used tons of lock-tite on my bolts and after trying everything to get them out i ended up pulling the supercharger out and drilling the bolts. it didnt take long and it was easy to do!
