3.1 pulley from zzp
Is it possible to run the stock belt on a 3.1 zzp pulley? without slipping? i have 42 injectors on the way, i'm getting dyno tune for the 3.1 pulley, #42 injectors, harness, drop in k&n. back to the original question though. Will the stock belt fit without slipping?

I 100% agree...
Ive had to run the 2.8 on a stock belt because i had to...
and that didnt slip.. but i woudlnt recommend doing it for long periods of time.

lol.. they actually have a air-conditioner for your car engine.. called a killer chiller.. its on that site i showed you...
the heat exchanger would be the best thing to get after that stage kit...
after that i would look into headers / dp, then getting retuned..

yea because right now it's a stockie exhaust. but i would loooove to keep her a sleeper. nice hush exhaust life the stock. Actually to be honest i would love it to be more silenced exhaust. kinda like the stock srt-4's. when they accel. if you hear them from behind them it just sounds so nasty like air coming out @ supersonic speed idk. just race a stock srt-4 and lose on purpose. or accident w.e. youll hear what im talking about

and what i've read. going below a 3.0 in my eyes tremendous mods are required i.e. heat exchanger, full exhaust. high flow cat, a/f gauge... my money = dont have it. 3.1, plugs, injectors, dyno tune is what i can spare... lol i pay mortgage, car payment, insurance, 401k, wife, oh did i mention i work for GMAC Mortgage. Watch the news lately? not too good right now. Not being cocky at all I'm just saying my situation is probably alot different from others. and if others is worse... i think there attention should be directed towards there problems in hand than making there car faster.

no.... wrong....
althought a heat exchanger is recommended, its not required for under a 3" pulley... ive been using a 2.8 with just an extra cooling res, i dont do back to back runs, i just daily drive, so im fine..
a/f guage? Who told you that? Thats if you want to tune... but your being dyno tuned, so theres no reason to get a a/f guage...
This car already comes with a high flow cat, its just the sizing of the pipe (like an 2 inches of it) thats 2.25" instead of 2.5"... so youll be fine...
This cars exhaust has the same issue, its 2.5" all the way through, except for one spot..
and no im not saying a a/f gauge isnt needed, its a really good safety tool, you just dont really NEED to have one running a smaller pulley.

that's what I've been saying. No point in stopping at 3.1, it's so close and he's piecing the system together anyway. Get a 2.9, injectors, and tune, everything you'd have to do with the 3.1 except you will need a new belt.......and call it a day.

you'll get nothing without the proper tune or injectors with wire harness. If you run on stock injectors, which are already maxed out with the stock set up. they can become damaged and stuck open. Creating wasted fuel, running lean or w.e. Get a proper kit. You just can't throw on a pulley and call it a day... p.m. me if you want more information on a proper set up. I p.med a senior on here and he told me EVERYTHING i needed to know to have a proper set up and get the most bang for my buck... but please don't do just the pulley. i will fwd you some stuff to read
