Well i'm sure we all know ZZP built a M62 car on a 2.4 motor to 420 at the wheels, but Tim said it sucks to DD because of the S3 cams in it. I'm going to drop cams in mine when tax season comes around and go for over 300 on the m62 and eventually go TVS. Should be a fun route imo.

High compression and cubes, that's where it's at with the blower. Rather than fighting diminshing returns spinning the blower faster, make better use of the air it delivers.

the zzp stage 1 cams are a pretty decent jump over stock cams and not just a stock replacement

i didnt mean stock replacement...i was meaning you can still run your stock lifters and retainers valve stirings on the stage one cams...and you can rev higher..

Cooling mods are your best friend.

Single pass
ZZP phenolic spacer
Griffin h/e

Even go as far as running water instead of coolant. On a 84°F day, I dropped my IAT2's 7°F after switching to water.. Yes logs were conducted, multiple pulls, etc. Water runs a good deal cooler which we all know means cooler boost --> more power.

And when you dyno, make it a nice fall afternoon.

Although cooling mods are great, there are better ways to spend over 1k. The dual pass will suit almost anyone's needs and the spacer is a given at this point for only being 100 bucks. But not many of us are willing to shell out the 600 for the Griffin. My ZZP S3 HE will suit me and my plans just fine, as it would for most others. There is usually a good balance of price, and what you really need for your car.
