I have a pretty similar mod list to what you're looking do to and I drive my car all day everyday for work and have zero issues with it. I've had the TVS on for 10k or so now and the car has over 75,000 miles on it now. It's definitely a fun setup. Enough power where it drives just like stock, but it really opens the hell up when you want it to. I say get OTTP's Stage 3 and go for it!!!!

Need to either go e85 or run meth to hit 300, but you can do that on the m62 too..lol.

I Think Area47 probably had more miles on his tvs, but I think i've got the highest mileage car with a tvs on it (131k currently)

Oh wait. Are you trying to count that spike in your dyno graph as 303? Or even 302.6?

I know you have been through this before.

Actually you are right. 300whp can be made on the TVS with no meth or E85. Area tuned Powell's TVS RL to 303whp but I have not seen the dyno sheet.

a friend of mine got 300hp with 60's, gmpp exhaust, fujita intake then he put meth and got 20 more hp.

no he is doing complete exhaust and more cooling mods with 80's

if you have a good tuner 300hp its easy, the tvs is a beast at high rpm

So if I made 303whp on my old tune... and Area (the self-proclaimed tuning god) made 303whp on a TVS... then seriously wtf. That kid drives me ****** nuts.

Not to take away his glory, but I have the same setup and it sounds really good for a 4 cyl. I have had a few different setups and this is the only one I really liked.

Now to see what he says about it

It sounds really good, especially for a 4-banger. I wish it was quieter but exhaust companies seem to think louder = better on our cars. Like I said though, overall I like it

I have my eye on the OTTP Longtube header, but that'd require some saving and selling my header/dp

Hmmmm. I am just running the catback now. I wonder how much louder it would be with the vibrant header/dp. I dont want to be too much louder. And I have also been checking out the longtubes as well.

blur/fx last week did 300whp. this one was done with the dyno computer reading 106 degree's and 50% humidity.

john has his graph. i have mine. blur has his.

self proclaimed? i NEVER once stated that. other people stated it. do NOT put words in my mouth young one.

it's not my fault it takes other people nitrous to beat my dyno numbers.
