Let me ask you this .... where are you going to use all of that speed ?? 40 rolls on the highway ?? haha

I totally agree if you use your car for the track or racing 300 whp is not enough, but for a daily driver it is

boost has nothing to do with it. cylinder pressure is the result, and the cause of people lifting heads. how they are doing it i have no idea.

which would mean the more boost they run, the higher the cylinder pressure, correct?

depending on how much air the turbo is moving. a dinky k04 is not going to lift the head.

Plus if you're backing the air up and not getting it out as fast as you're forcing it in, you're def gonna have a prob.

cylinder pressure comes from a few variables. boost is one. ignition timing. cam profiles. you get the idea.

for reference on this matter.

29psi
13.6 afr
36 degree's of timing

started pushing coolant from the reservoir. it didn't make any power at that craptastic **** up on the map.

dropped the afr. dropped the timing. didn't run it to 8300, so it was 27psi. head was fine. stock TTY bolts as well.

If the OP has the 4th gen OTTP heat exchanger he will be fine. It is of the same design as the ZZP S3 (dual pass radiator style instead of modified bar and plate like their older models), and the core is slightly thicker.

36* timing is surely a mistake in the tune along with the lean afr. You don't make anymore power over 24-25* on an lsj

stiner. yes and no. i halved the maf scaling and some other things and had a massive brain fart.

as far as not making power. majority of the people on here will not run lean enough to use the 25+ degree's of timing anyways.
