i think thats TOTAL, with supercharger power involved. ie) 40% over STOCK engine (no f/i yet, like a 2.2)

about 120 without the super. there's no point in swapping. you would most likely LOSE power. a 50% gain is 180 to the wheels, and it claims UP TO 40%. so in all reality, you'll probably be able to keep up with a bolted 2.4

it's not. it doesn't say anything about gains over the m62 on the cobalt. it's just in general, that it will add 40% power. but you're taking off the supercharger to put this one on. so, you have to subtract the power you lose from taking off your current super, then add the 40% whic hrealistically is probably less.

that's not the link that was provided then. the link provided is for a different supercharger altogether

5% is a decent gain. on a stock ss/sc 5% is like 10.5 whp. but people will buy anything don't forget. who knows, maybe it's legit. but i seriously doubt it. if it is legit, ibet it's crazy expensive. and to be able to handle 40% more power yu're talking about almost 300 whp. so you'll have to make other upgrades as well.

as long as it isnt close to the tvs price when it comes out it should be good..i'd throw down 500 bucks for 10.5 whp lol nothing more

Dudes...correct me if i'm wrong, but don't we have 5th gen m62's on our cars? I mean, you would lose power going to that 4th gen...Common sense almost

I have no doubt that better internals could produce more efficiency from the blower.
and im interested to see more on it....

but realistically, that 40% number definately refers to the power you can gain by putting a blower on an n/a car.
