5W-40? Liqui Moly
So i have a 06 SS/SC with about 95k on it and am about to change my oil.
I got some 5W-40 Liqui Moly full synthetic from some friends who run a European auto shop, now this stuff is suppose to by very high quality but isn't made in 5w-30
so my question is has anyone run or have any insight into running 5w-30 in their LSJ?
or specifically anyone ran Liqui Moly in any of the ecotech motors?
Thanks,
Taylor

I'm thinking of running 5-40 next season, car gets abused and with auto-x and all the low end torque I have with the blower its not unrealistic for me to see full throttle at 1500 rpm in 2nd, so I want the extra hot viscosity to help oil pressure at low rpms. Though after running it for a while I would send it out to get tested to make sure the hot viscosity isnt too high and you arent shearing the oil too much.

Hm well my car is still bone stock my only real worry is that i live up in the northwest tip of washington and its currently 30-40 degrees outside and will be throughout winter.
I know GM has said not to run 10w-40 since it breaks down to fast or something like that but i cant really see much issue from the slight change to 5w-40 from 30, but i really dont know. anyone???
