I can't wait to get mine. I hope it will be here around the 15th or so, or at least be shipped.

trust me, those numbers are extremely conservative. once people get their own dynos done.. i might even get accused of underrating the #'s

I have dealt with TOG in the past with my Grand Prix. I have their headers on my car and absolutely love them! I have dealt with other brands of headers and promptly sold them before ever installing them. I have never regretted my decision to buy the TOGs for the Grand Prix. I highly recommend any of their products. I have met Jon and can say that he is an enthusiast as well as a honest vendor. My friends in my car club also run their headers and have had stellar results and excellant warranty coverage as well.

As far as results go (I have a RT downpipe/High Flow Cat, SLP cat-back exhaust, rockers, and smaller pulley, etc.): They dynoed 20 horsepower and 16 ft-lbs torque on a stock GTP. One can assume the results would be similar with the Cobalt SS/SC due to the forced induction. I would say that they are underrated at 10hp, 5ftlbs torque. Also, as stated previously, the results will increase dramatically once other complimentary mods are added. I noticed more gains than the stated stock ratings.

Enjoy!

So if stage 2 says we will gain 36 hp....it will probably be more than that because of the header? I have heard people say that the gains will rise with each mod but I just want to make sure I am on the same page.

The stage kits Add X HP and y Tq. They are basing it off the stock numbers because thats what is important to them but if you have a header, and CAI then get a Dyno done and find you have gained 20 Hp and 15 Tq then you can take your stock lets say 200 Hp and 190 Tq. add the mods to it

220Hp and 205 Tq. then with the stage kits that add X Hp and y Tq.

220 + X=Hp
205 + Y=Tq

I think so... found this on redline forums.

Hopefully they'll update the forums themselves, but I got this in an email from Jon today:..........

The headers are still in production. We had a short delay with the flanges. We are working as quick as possible to complete the finished product. Apologize for the delay.

Regards,

Jon

Thumbs down TOG Disconnect

I just tried to call The Other Guys about the header order. I have just found out that the phone has been disconnected. I think we have gotten the shaft from these jokers. I hope that I am incorrect. If you are still out there TOG what is up with our headers? You charged my card a month and half ago and still no product. I think you are not being very honest with us.

last night someone on the redline forums ran into that and they sent an email. TOG has moved to a new shop, and he said the headers are almost finished and will be sent to the coating place shortly.

no worries
