You can make over 300whp on the m62 still though with ported head etc I would go that route see how the power is then when you are over it move to the TVS

If it's the cheapest then ofcourse nitrous wins. You could port your head etc for around 1500-1600$ I'd imagine which is around the same as a TVS similar power levels as a stock pulley on TVS but less heat/stress on your engine

Cometic head gasket $80
Supertech Valve Spring Kit $360
Supertech Valves $340
so far $905 + shipping, so almost $1k in just parts
no what if you don't know what you're doing.... then you'll have to spend roughly $500 - $1k on having a shop remove and reinstall the head, depending on shop rates & if they know what they're doing. so know we're close to $2k. what if the shop has to send the head to a machine shop, that's additional cost. so in other words, to do it completely right by good shops, you're looking at roughly $2k+ to do a port/polished head with upgrade valvetrain, because you dont want to put stock parts back in. oh and you're car will be down for about a week.
now if you go with a TVS setup via OTTP.... you can have everything swapped & running in a couple days. and save a few hundred bucks without having to crack open the engine.

70% of the kids on this forum aren't in career jobs and making the money to be able to do a built head. hell they max out daddy's credit car with loud annoying exhausts & MRZ shiney pieces for the engine bay
