aftermarket DP? is that why you replaced the sensor? youre supposed to keep the stock sensor and add the AEM...

If it's after the cat, you will get false readings. It has to be before the cat, at least 18" from the head, and 10* above horizontal for it to work right.

That CEL will also mess up your tune and cause the car to dump fuel. You need someone with HPTuners to turn off all the items that'll trigger that CEL for the car to run right.

you should have 2 o2 sensors in your exhaust. You need to remove your downpipe and weld the bung that came with your gauge in the downpipe (for bung location see above posts).

Then when you re-install your downpipe make sure both stock o2 sensor are back where they belong, and the wideband o2 sensor goes into the bung welded into your downpipe. the other side of the sensor goes into your gauge.

i really do think there is just something wrong with my gauge. i followed the instructions all the way except for the o2 sensor bung weld in. i put the aem o2 sensor in the stock o2 bung on my downpipe just until i could afford a weld or new DP. but even if using the stock o2 sensor position is inaccurate i should atleast get somewhat of a reading but im not. not even a LED sweep. and i know some kids did the same as a inexpensive alternative, whos gauge works 100% regardless wether the reading is accurate or not.

The O2 definately needs to go BEFORE the cat. But you're right, regardless of whether you have it in the exhaust port or the muffler, you should never see a reading of 55.5 or 6.66. The guage doesn't even read that far in either direction. Either the guage is messed up or your wiring is off.

Ok you need to have a O2 bung welded in after the sensor in the manifold. If you were to just remove O2 Sensor 1 and just plug in your WEGO O2 your car cannot read the A\F ratio and make adjustments.

I ran mine in the second 02 sensor spot for atleast 3 months and never had false readings. I also had a cat. After the couple months I had it welded in before the cat and the reading didnt change. I think you just got a shitty 02 sensor.

ill post pics today of my 02 sensor location, i had the weld blow out on me last night and ruined my o2 sensor so i have to get a new one, yah it sucks, i used a shitty welder last time and i guess the weld wasnt strong enough, it ran fine for like 2 months though and then pow it just blew, i thought i blew a gasket but i looked under the car and there was my wideband o2 sensor all nice and shinny from dragging on the ground, i was like son of a b***h lol.

also yah my gauge goes, 1.11, 2.22, 3.33 etc etc when you turn the key in the on position and at start up, i think its suppose to do that.
