You don't know if I'm wrong now do you? You have no idea where I stand on this other than I think you're a dick, which you keep proving for me and admitting to. Besides you can get a point across without insulting someone. That's all I'm saying.

I wasn't saying you were wrong, although since you thought that way you must feel you are (sorry my psych classes coming back). You are wanting me to kiss up to anyone and everyone that has a thought different to mine and I refuse to do that. I never have and I never will. If I caved to everyone like some people do then I wouldn't be as far along in life as I am now. You don't get anywhere by letting people walk all over you.

He doesn't hate me because I produce tangible results. I have upped their Ecotec sales and made more than my share of sales on Ecotec and other heads to make him happy.

The entire point of this post was to gather and guage interest in a cylinder head thats built and ready to assemble for under 1500 which currently does not exist on the market, For a product comparable to a patriot stage 2 head like they make for the L61 you would have to go through JBP and spend 3000, I know alot of you may love that company however its possible for you to build a head yourself at a local machine shop for a whole lot less than what JBP sells anything comparable.

Again I'm not trying to Bash anyone or any company but JBP pricing for what your getting is simply not competitive. I can see this crowd is only a slight bit above in the stupidity level of JBO. You should be more open to learning about your cars and options for them as well as listening to people who have worked with the ecotec motor 4 years before your car existed

I am more than interested in Patriot making an LSJ head. I don't think anyone said that they wouldn't want a quality product made for our car. The problem is you. I have been interested in upgrading my valve train and porting the head on my engine since I bought the car. The reason I haven't got one yet is that I haven't found a fair price. I will buy a head from patriot if they make one. I will never buy one from you. That's the same reason I would never buy a Glas-Tek hood from you. Glas-Tek has nothing to do with it. People want to buy products from knowledgeable people. This is true. People don't like to buy from people they dislike. That is also true...

GM's flowbench is from an LSJ head while Patriots are on a L61 head. Can't even compare the numbers bud. I have both numbers written side by side in my build book though just so I know what I needed to get. Oh and the GMPP head is designed for bigger valves BTW last I checked.

You talk to Matt like he was part of my company or something. Matt doesn't work for me. He is just a person who is actually trying to do something different and make his car fast.

No both are a superflow 1020 bench I was comparing 2.2 to 2.2..the 2.0 numbers were at the end

They are different number, which i listed for both. The first set is from a lost foam cast 2.2 head..the second is from a sand cast lsj head. GM cnc heads use lsj valves which at 1.400 and 1.200" respectively. patriot is 1.420" and 1.225". All from the build book and patriots web site

Yes I do actually. Would you like to tell me how you can compare the numbers from a L61 head and a LSJ head? They are two completely different heads and two completely different casting methods so you can't. Maybe you didn't know but the GMPP Race head is just a P'n'P LSJ head. I know....because I just had to get all the info on every GMPP race part for my new project.

So then....do YOU have any idea what your trying to contradict me on?

Contrary to popular belief both of the GMPP heads are based of the 2.0L LSJ head, not the 2.2L L61 head.

My apologies for you not being able to read.

EDIT: That remark was below the belt, I apologize. This kinda **** just gets me wound up. I figured the Glas-Tek comment would make it more than clear who I was referring to.

Even if the production of the GMPP heads have changed to LSJ heads, the flow numbers that Dan included were for the L61 based head which was what was being used at that time. The build book flow numbers have never changed, only part number supplements are issued. If what you're saying is true, the flow numbers should be even higher now that the GMPP head is based off the LSJ (although ever so slightly). I still don't believe that GMPP had all aftermarket heads changed to an LSJ setup when they are intended for use on a built L61, without seeing one in person or seeing a revision in documentation.

Well I'm just going off what I was told in my recent talks with them. I'm working on a new project and I need a lot of their parts so I was discussing a lot of stuff with them. This was one of them.
