Aftermarket intake manifold
I finally figured out where to get an aftermarket turbo manifold so the next thing on my list would obviously be an aftermarket intake manifold. I clearly can't use the stock intake manifold where the supercharger bolts on and i really dont want to use the intake manifold off of the 2.2 motor since its only made of plastic and id rather have 1 that is a little more than just plastic. I was wondering if anyone knew if anyone made one. Thanks for the help

hahn makes one...

Awesome product...
The supercharger plate is another good idea, but if you would rather spend the money, get the hahn... As far as i know its the only one that has been made to work.

I already tried it, even though the heads are similar the bolt patterns are different. My buddy works at a tranny shop n a Saab 9-3 came in with a blown motor. I got the Intake Manifold, Turbo Manifold, and turbo and it doesnt line up right to just bolt on.

The turbo manifold should work (maybe)
The intake probly wont fit..
Promise that hahn is the best you can get...
Cheaper alternative is the supercharger plate...

Can you post a picture of these? Very curious..
Edit: Did a quick search here and found this 9-3 manifold pic in a thread:
Seems to fit perfectly on the LSJ head...

Somebody makes a block off plate for the eaton where you basically gut your sc. I don't remember who.
Or if your real cheap just remove the by-pass blade on the supercharger.
If that blade is not there your supercharger will never create any boost. If it is not boosting it will not create as much heat. You will probably loose a little hp because it still requires effort to spin the blades but you will not loose near as much if you were boosting.
I don't recommend that as the perfect solution but I would like to see some one try just for fun! lol

Yes but the probability of that happening is higher with a turbo system pushing over 360-370..
The twin charge setup has been running for some time now at 350 hp... If your gonna run it at 320 hp (around stock turbo setup output) you will be fine... if you wanna run it higher, and dont wanna risk it, get hahn intake mani....

That is not the one I am talking about it.
There is another out there. You basically remove the snout of the Eaton and replace it with a block off plate. So it is just the housig of the M62 with no snout or rotors.
I CANT FIND IT!! grrr
