all right dude. i know my ****. seriously. if you want to run that 2.6 you gotta get some 60lbs injectors w/ harness - zzperformance.com, stage 2 belt, i suggest a pulley tensioner, cooling mods such as heat exchanger, water/meth kit/ dual pass, and or ported supercharger. but most importantly you need a tune. i dont believe that you have ran the 2.6 off of stock injectors, your engine should have blown from being to lean and way to damn much heat, and your stock injectors would have gone static.
good supporting mods are needed to run the 2.6 such as intake and header back. but you need a tune!!!! this is me being serious.
here is me not being serious, run a 250 shot of nos and stick a finger up your ass

I read the first three posts.....
I hope this is a joke or the parts aren't all on.
I tuned my car with 60's, airbox mod, and just a catback with no cooling mods from march - september of '07 and my car is still up and running with all else I've thrown at her. The hottest time of the year with a 2.6 is dangerous and I would NEVER do it again now that I know better. I got lucky
