Amsoil vs Royal Purple

I've never been a picky guy when it comes to oil in my cars. I've always run Mobil 1 in my Cobalt, but I was thinking of making a change. I can get Amsoil through my company at 10% above cost, but if I want Royal Purple, I'm going to have to go to O'Rileys or somewhere like that. I put Royal Purple in my my new transmission when I installed that, and I've head people rave about how good the motor oil is, but is it worth it, or am I better off using my discount on Amsoil?

Your better off using the company discount w/Amsoil - there is enough comparison data on the web to know which is the superior oil.

Yea, I searched and saw a thousand different threads arguing Mobil 1/Amsoil/RP, and nothing really stood out but "Amsoil and RP > Mobil 1".

Amsoil 5w30 since 15k then switched 2 years ago to the signature 0w30. No problems with the oil or their new 15k filter so far.
