if i can let me ask you a question were do you get an inspection done with that many mods you have to be running rich as hell. also i dont see that you modified the cat or any exhaust im on my second cobalt due to a lemon and i got a real lemon in return which is great chicks love yellow but i smoked my cat due to overboost im assuming that the ecu was trying to compensate for what the map sensor saw and tore the cat up and back pressure well you know the rest and what was done to the axles and how do you feel on a spec two clutch on a launch im slipping and wondered if your clutch held up

wellllll good news, bad news, good news bad news i dont know how this one works out
here sit down ill put it in point form
car went to the tranny shop for the new exedy clutch and flywheel(also threw a whole new slave and bearing in)
car came out not running
i fixed it to start, yes i fixed it, ( i did not pay labour on clutch install)
car would not idle, and hardly would turn over with 14 volts
when it did start it made a loud knocking noise and oil pressure was medium to none it was coming than dropping like a ring was seating but not
finallly took it to another shop to have it torn apart on the lift
took the front cover off
found 2 missing bolts from my oil pump cover on the front cover( )
broken water pump chain, explains the over heating issue lol
so all in all, not as bad as originally thought
soo now heres where it gets fishy my buddy was helping was cleaning parts ( i specifically told him not to take anything apart, i was gonna leave the oil pump alone as it wasn't an issue), well im positive he took it apart and did not torque the hex screws nor did he use locktight,
as the screws loosened 2 of them fell into the sprocket on the main crank which than caused a broken sprocket and chain on my water pump explains awful rackets
oil pressure issue would be because the the pump would hold pressure until it would just pile into my timing chain assembly, causing loss of oil(which i thought was burning) and loss of pressure
with the loose oil pump cover it also caused my gears to bounce aorund, actually putting a bad grooved into the main timing chain and water pump cover, so its being replaced,
while im at it, im replacing my timing chain and water pump chain, also replacing my t-stat and my water pump for safety reasons
but needless to say i sold like everything but my axles, and lower springs and gauges, so im gonna run around stockish for a while, im gonna have to try and find a good deal on hptuners cuz im an idiot and sold mine, ****, but for now staying stock for now, doesnt look like the evo will be ready for a while which blows, i may just stay stock, and wait till it does come out and sell the balt than
oh well its better news than i had thought, but its pretty bad at the same time
if ur gonna flame me **** u go right ahead but it wont get you anywhere with me right now, lol,
sorry for any negative attitude recently its been a long month recently had some personal problems i wont go into details, things start to look than they look down

as for mods, it was a 2.6 with a **** load of timing and only one cooling mod, im too lazy too list them all
when the cars motor is ready to go, ill post up a full list and details, its much harder to rebuild a motor twice when its comign out of your own pocket oh well, i thought i should have done the oil pump, and i knew i was right, but decided against it
but its slowly getting there, the air ride is sitting in the car right now, but unsure i wanna install it, as i wanna run it down the track, i may just get some coilovers, but soon enough soon enough

update, block is finished, kinda, havent seen it yet, full balancing, crank knive edging, it was balanced to a spec of .01, which is crazy considering the last shop was .1 lol, but anyways, best news ive heard in a while, now the real question do i justy swap it to turbo lol
ummmm head is getting 1+ mm oversized valves cut in this week i think, i dont know when it will run, but my project has officially been over 1 year, march 27th, which is when i picked my bike up i think lol
