2.0L LSJ Performance Tech 205hp Supercharged SS tuner version. 200 lb-ft of torque.

Any One know if the pipe thats circled in the pic is suposed to connect to anything??

Any One know if the pipe thats circled in the pic is suposed to connect to anything??

i just realized that the pipe thats circled in red (the one coming from the cap that says NEVER OPEN IF HOT) is not connected and anything and just hanging down, does anyone know if its supposed to be like that, and if not where its supposed to be??

is that for the intake mani? I'm sure its supposed to be hoked to something....don't think GM put a resevoir with a hose that runs to nothing.

No no no no no..

It is a overflow on the filler neck for the heat exchanger system.

i'm no expert on SS/SC's, but it's possible that it's the overflow tube if the pressure gets too high

no it is for coolant over fill when the coolant heats up the it expands and the excess flows out of this hose

what he said, its supposed to be open so if it overflows the coolant flows out of the system

No it does not hook to anything just a breather hose

It's simply a pressure release if more than 5 psi is in the system the cap releases & allows fluid to run out the tube releaseing pressure!
