Anyone running stock plugs read this

I tried many different plugs in my car and found that with my mods the stockers had the best performance.

The stock plugs are gapped to .040 by NGK, the plugs I pulled at 10,000 miles ranged from .037 to .039 gap.

I installed fresh OE plugs gapped to .040 and had hicup issues, so I tried .039 and got a little hicup around 5,000rpm.

So I set another set of OE plugs to .038 and wow smooth as silk and no issues from idle to redline. My car had always had a slight hicup once and awhile and it is now gone also.

good for you. with the stock plugs and the stage 2 what are you using to measure knock? because your getting some. thats the reason i switched to one range colder. not because the gap or a hickup.

Basically, My car runs like a raped ape and the hicup was my only issue. So with that gone I don't think KR is really an issue.

And DrkknightSS99 I wouldn't really worry about it until you have an issue.

My hicup was present even when 100% stock and Stage 2 made it a little worse yet. No it is completely gone.
