No one makes "drive your convertible with the top down in the rain" gear for some reason.
I have these prescription davida goggles which are great. I have a second set for passengers and make it mandatory that they wear eye protection:

It has actually been tough to find good driving gear for the car. Around town I just wear a set of Davida Aviator goggles and regular clothes. But for cold or wet weather its hard to find much. The motorcycle gear would be good except 99% of it is armored. When you are strapped into a recaro racing seat with 6 point harness back and shoulder armor are very uncomfortable. Last year when I drove across country I had a full piece gortex aerostich motorcycle suit where I removed all the armor. Even then I got to hate that thing after 2000 miles

damn, i wonder how close that thing is to being street illegal, btw, what bikes could you hang with in that thing?
Hmm i just noticed, does the atom only generate downforce by having the flat bottom?

There is a wing package for it. The front wing generates something like 150lbs of downforce and the rear around 300. But the wings cost $6K
But the wingless Atom will still take turns at over 2 g's. That's is plenty for me.

We should be done this week with the build and then tuning next week.
Exhaust version with CAT
custom side tank for the methanol.
If we get the car running it will be at the next Atom club meet at Reno-Fernley 6/11-6/13. Probably wont have it tuned in time to run on the track though. But the paddle shifter will get demo'd if anyone is close and wants to see the car. the 475hp honda will be there running though

The US made Atom has a custom axle made by www.driveshaftshop.com This is what they say about the axles
"Brammo has spared no expence on ordering the strongest axles avalible for the cars. we have been manufacturing axles like this for most of the Pro Front wheel drive Drag teams for 10 years now and not had a problem with this design"

Bill Hahn would supply the basic turbo parts - exhaust manifold custom built for the Atom, turbo, boost controller, bov, oil lines, etc (pictured at the end of my first post). Another owner is waiting for my build to finish to order his parts but already has a quote from Bill.
Then Tom can supply charge tubing, intercooler and now they know all the little parts needed to hook everything up. You would not get a tune though unless you have them install the kit or have a tuner do one from scratch. My tune would not work unless you do the high compression pistons and methanol injection.
The water injection system is a separate kit they could supply with one or two tanks, tubing and the water injection pump. Tom has an extra Perrin kit like mine to sell.
The paddle shifter would be a separate kit they could make for you.
Then there are all the internal engine components that need to be done separately if you would want.
email me if you want details or Toms contact info. eric.murray at gmail.com
