Another really big factor is the car's light weight...it cannot establish as many different load conditions as a 3000-lb 'Balt. We see this phenom on the bikes too, but amplified even further. It leads to a vehicle that's more forgiving to tune, one more tolerant of draw-through.

During the tuning process, we learned that this installation is way different than our Cobalts in that the air piping runs are super-compact and short. He had only like 18" of tube from turbo outlet to intercooler inlet (to put the MAF in blow-thru), and like no tube at all from IC outlet to TB. Everywhere they tried the MAF was too turbulent in blow-through form, so they basically settled for draw-through.

we had it tuned in 5 dyno runs basically unlike the 3-4 hours we spent before just to get it stable in blow through.
The car is a lot smoother, it doesn't dump any gas anywhere along the way. I could not be happier.
Bill, I'll send you the dyno graphs from the other guy if he hasn't sent them to you. Funny story is that he used my tune and even with his portfueler and 8 42 lbs injectors vs my 4 71 lbs injectors it worked almost perfectly for him. AFR's like 11 the whole time for him. Sometimes you get lucky.

On the atomclub forum in the for sale section. I bought them about 5 minutes after they were posted for sale. I'm going to repaint my BRG panels to the half black half red pattern of the Atom 500 and then put in the red and black seats

I saw those posted for sale and wondered who bought them. That paint scheme should look mighty nice!
I'm going to paint the tea tray, dash and nose of the CF Atom and add either red seats or do a bright red liner on the one piece seat. It just looks too...unfinished as is. Needs a turbo, too.I believe I'll let turboaddictionparts do one this winter. They seem quite eager to try one on an Atom.
