Arp head studs

Hey those using arp head studs on the lsj what torque specs did u guys use?

Mine are set at 85ft lbs.

For those who have used the head studs what three steps to torque them did u use? N what's the torque spec on the 4 side head bolts again?

I didn't do mine in 3 steps, i just gradually went around until all were set. I did something like 35-45-60-70-85. The side bolts I just tightened until they were tight.

No need to ever run larger studs as the ARP are so damn strong as is. The strength on the ARP's is ridiculous to say the least.

My only suggestion is that if you put the headstuds in the block "handtight" like my Integra's ARP studs said to do that you at least put them in there to 10 ft.lbs.

My Golden Eagle headstuds on the Cobalt are torqued to 86ft.lbs.

I torqued mine in 4 steps. 20, 40, 60, then 86. And as always I doubled check the final torque spec on each one.
