Auto zones pulley puller is not the same puller as you need. I believe zzp rents them if you decide to go that route.

Best bet is to find a local shop with a press and have them press it off. The tool you need for installing the new pulley can be rented or possibly borrowed from the same shop. It's a GM power steering pump pulley installation kit.

The press is much safer and easier for removal, and the proper installer tool makes it super easy. I've done at least 10 swaps this way, and a couple with garbage pullers and stuff. Do it right, much easier, no risk of damage.

i used a posi lock puller and a gm power steering pulley installer to put the new hub on. i did manage to snap the grade 10 bolt that was in the installer with about 3mm left before the pulley was flush but they had another one in stock and i got it on.
