Mid month is coming and time to add a whole new slew of crap to my car.

What is the best meth injection kit with least problems/low profile look?

Tired of seeing my WOT pulls pushing IAT2s tipping in to the 180s when it is 98 degrees out (dont worry i dont do another WOT pull until it drops to 140s)

um, its all pretty much personally preferance among the bigger of the names (coolingmist, AIS, devil's own) ...but ya...the water/meth injection is a great mod...piece-of-mind ...and extra lil pull if you get tuned for it

I have had experience with AIS and Devils Own..

Both are great kits and both try to help you as much as they can.. I recommend either..

I have an AIS kit. I like that it mounts in the trunk. The stainless line they use is really nice. They are great guys to deal with. I haven't had experience with the others though. My AIT is great now though. I was having the same issue. The only thing to keep in mind is that your daily driving may have to adjust some. It is easy to hit the activation boost on steep hills or when going through gears from a stop, but you have to hold back after it is on or you fill it up a lot.

What is your AIT2 under normal conditions (idle, cruise)? Do you have dual pass? I played around a lot with mine over the last year to finally get it cool enough.

To throw out some alternatives, I have a perrin kit which is very good and has a lot of built in safety features if you are going to tune for meth. It is the most "gadgety" because it has a little remote control that has blinky lights

It doesn't come with a tank though.


Another is the Aquamist system s2 kit (uses the same pump as the perrin kit). This kit is different in that the water injection is fully mappable just like tuning a fuel injection map.

at $1200 at least it is the most expensive kit out there

I went with the Devils own from ottperformance. The prices were great and you can also pick up a throttle body spacer so you dont have to drill any holes into your intake.

indeed^ ...ive heard some mixed things about putting the meth in after the TB though...not usre if its a detriment to anything or not

i used to hit 200+ iat2... no problems. i now have the AIS kit. works great and im tuned for meth. havent had one problem with my kit.

do you have an engine bay mount? Im not going with option B or dual pass.

Yea they peaked when i did a full throttle run in 98 a degree weather yesterday.

Went from 140 to 180 before i hit 90

IAT1s were 105-120 depending if i stopped

so what are your guys IAT2 temps without meth on and with meth on from say a 1st to 2nd gear pull? Basically 0 to 60
