Bigger Injectors, Return-Style fuel sytem ???
I have a little build that Im just about done with. I know I am going to need some more fuel added to run power but am trying to figure out if I just get say either 72 or 79 lb inectors with a bigger fuel pump. If that will be optimal or do bigger injectors and the return style fuel system.
Components:
-Precision SC50 turbo
-Diamond Pistons
-Nuetral Balance shafts
-Cometic Head Gasket
-Port n Polished head w/ 3 angle vavle job
-Ferrera valve springs and retainers
-ARP headstuds
-272 Ground cams
-Hahn intake manifold and intercooler piping
Please give your opinion only if you know what your talking about, thanks.
Help and opininons would be aprreciated.

When would the return style fuel system and upgraded pump be optimal? What kidn of situation would there be that it would wbe good to use the return style-fuels system sith bigger injector? Please explain this. I do plan on possibly soon after get this running going with a much bigger turbo to make more power. Mor in depth advice would really help thanks.

as of right now. 484 whp "seems" to be the max of the stock pump itself. it could be pushed harder using a meth kit as a secondary fuel system. remember, fuel pump flow is relative to air flow in pressure. you start raising the boost, cfm flow from the pump drops.

I would shoot for 79#'s and a Walbro 255fp especially when you will be pushing the limits of the stock pump, yes its been stated 450+ is the max or some crap, but i would toss one in for sure everyone gets boost happy and when they do the first thing to go wrong is not enough fuel...........

good to see the build going man man. im hoping to fix all my problems in the next month and start my build.
well im thinking you can use an external pump kinda like alot of high power 4cyl and v8 guys use. im thinking something along the line of an aeromotive external efi pump. basically youd have to redo the whole fuel system leading to the fuel rail, a few fittings, alot of braided line, aeromotive efi pump(they have 700hp-1000hp pumps) aeromotive filter, and the knowledge to hook everything up. you might spend around 500-800 bucks but itd take awhile for you to max out the fuel system(if even possible). but thats if itd even work on our cars. but i dont see why it wouldnt.

you don't need a walbro pump to achieve 400whp. stock is fine. walbro becomes a problem when massive airflow is introduced. it will fall on it's ass more or less.
