Boma cai?

I was recently searching the internet, and found someone selling a CAI for our cobalts.

The guy told me the company name was BOMA.

I did alot of searching, and nothing to be found of such a company.
I know of BOMZ CAI but nothing of BOMA. So if anyone has heard of/seen/used a BOMA CAI let me know what you think/thought.

The guys listed the item at 80 bucks. so it would be a good deal. Unless i get some funky ****.

SS/SC intakes are very touchy, most all of the cheap ones, are not tested and will through a CEL. Injen is known for one of the best, along with K&N

I assumed an answer like this, mainly cause i know it to be true. I assume i will get a CEL if i use this.

When the car goes through a CEL does the ecu change the performance of the car as a like DEFAULT mode?

You mean limp mode...

Most times by intakes and CEL, the engine most likely is making less power than with the stock air box. You pay for what you get in intakes.

Get an Injen intake and be happy, and know you did the right thing.

not only will it throw a CEL, but your MAF will be way the f**k of wack running rich/lean. Don't cheap out on the intake, I thought I would, but ended up buying a named brand and threw the other out, because it wasn't worth reselling

Yup, and spending a lot more in the end, you can "save" by getting a quality intake the first time.
