typically its 10-12 psi. Its not stock because you have a smaller pulley as staged in your sig.

If you have a stock pulley you probably have a clogged cat

Stock boost is gonna be 12psi like said above a couple post ago

I think you need to state what size pulley it is, stage one could mean many diff things to us all, we all think differently

This is true. OTTPs stage 1 is actually GM's stage 2

I'm pretty ignorant of this stuff so i don't really know much about any of it. do you know what size pulley it should be if it's stock?

Traaviper did you get you're OTTP stage 2 on order yet? I think stock is 3.1"? If it looks like the pic then you probably have a clogged cat. Restrtiction will make you're boost go up

Yeah if it looks like that then your deff. stock

it doesnt matter if your on the stock pulley, you have supporting mods like catback, intake, etc.

so its very possible to overboost, yes supercharged cars can do it too

I would just buy the staged kit from whoever you want, get it tuned and have fun with it man I loved mine before I got rid of it

my boost gauge just went out so I have a new one ordered. so other than the new boost gauge, exhaust, intake, and intercooler (i think the intercooler is aftermarket), it's all stock.

I dont think I have ever seen a boost spike on my car. Weird.

Also 15 on stock is very weird.

I'd say since his boost gauge went out that was the culprit. That is just a guess.

Well you would think with more flow the supercharger doesnt have to work as hard which would mean less boost. I'm running 15psi right now with my stage 2 and am curious how it's going to react when i bolt exhaust onto it.

like I said before, I'm pretty ignorant of all of this stuff but from what the mechanics said that I've talked to, an exhaust system is supposed to open it all up more. idk if that would make the boost go up or not but the supercharger run on a belt from the engine so if the engine was able to run faster from the exhaust opening it up, you would think that the supercharger would be able to turn faster and create more boost. but, idk.
