Boost gauge reads wrong

So i got my cobalt ss/sc on last friday and yesterday my bro bought me hp tuners for my car he is a really good tuner. So he raised the rev limter to 7100 and deleted the tq management. My boost gauge has always read 10.5 psi at the most in any gear. So he goes into his log of our ride to find out i am boosting around 13 psi does this sound right to you guys. I also found out the at redline my injectors are 126% to duty/cycle. So i think i will be upgrading those next. The car only has 240 miles on it are the stock injectors really that weak? Also will i boost a higher psi once the car beaks in more?

Stock boost on the car is 12.5 psi, but you won't get that all the way to redline, the computer actually bleeds boost as you approach redline which is the 10.5 PSI that you are seeing. To answer your question yes the injectors are that weak. This is why every kit for the cobalt includes bigger injectors, and also one fo the principal reasons why boost is bled off in stock form, they simply can't flow enough fuel to keep a nice safe a/f ratio at 12.5 PSI when reving to 6500, I would be very careful with your limiter at 7100 until you get some more fuel you are most likely running lean

You're going to run 7100 rpm on an engine with 240 miles? LMAO! Good luck getting that replaced when it is blown!
