Boost levels with 2.85 pulley ?

Hey guys,
with the 2.85 i see anywhere from 15 to maybe 18psi. Will log it with hpt in the next few days. Was expecting to see a pound or two less w/catles 3" dp and 3" mid exhaust, but installed the stage 2 and exhaust at the same time. So i have no reference point.

What kind of boost levels are some of you seeing with 2.85 or others.

Thanks,
Nate

This is probably a dumb question but does having an exhaust give you more psi?

Isn't 3" too big for our cars unless you are over 300 HP?

no.. exhaust will drop it normally because you will have better flow

With my mods (in the garage) and a 2.9" pulley I saw 16.69psi @ 6,800rpm while getting tuned. HPTuners said so. lol

depends on what you're doing with the car.

psi is a measurement of resistance.
if you open something up, like the exhaust as a whole. you will lose psi, but gain efficiency

IE, you will still move the same amount of air, just alot more free flowing.
