Borla Exhaust Coming Very Soon...
So I got an e-mail today from Borla that they will have the exhaust for the Cobalt done very soon.
Here is the e-mail with the part #. I would be interested if this had a better tone then my magnaflow and was priced reasonably with better gains. Kick ass!

This is the exhaust im getting. I had BORLA on my C4 corvette and it was MEAN. Proven sounds and performance. The best exhaust out there in my honest opinion.
NOTE TO ALL SS OWNERS, WHEN THIS EXHAUST COMES OUT, BUY IT. THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT FOR SOUND AND PERFORMANCE GAINS.

To bad 99% of BORLA's Cat-Backs look terrible due to absolutely ugly oversized tips.
It would be first on my list if it wasn't for those.
Description will most likely read:
- Stainless steel tubing
- Straight through muffler
- 5 inch rolled edge intercooled tip

I had a Borla on my ZX3. Everyone complimented the sound. Gains were good too.
I doubt they'll put a 5" tip. Infact, it will probably be the same size as the OEM. It will be a nicer looking tip though.
Can't wait. Will the SS backfire-pop when letting off the gas to slow down? I hope so. I love that sound.

Awesome! Hope it sounds good, I'd like to hear it before I'd purchase though. My friend had Borla on his SRT-4 and it sounded nice. I'm guessing $599 for the exhaust system. Also, I'd like to know the tip size and looks of the Borla exhaust system.

just put a borla cat back system on my dads 95 impala SS today and your right it does sound awesome. A fairly noticable gain too, and the tips weren't horrible. they were angled downward and kinda hidden behind the bumper. can't argue with the performance though! hopefully it will be the same for the SS/SC

Borla is working on prototyping a new system for the Cobalt. As we have seen over the last few years, their quality, and performance is unsurpassed. We expect the Cobalt exhaust to be no different !!
