Has anyone ever tried to change the blow off valve on the supercharger to get the turbo charged sound? I was wondering if it actually sounds good and what part I should buy. (Im not trying to pretend to have a turbo charged car, I just like the noise off a bov with the whine of a supercharger)

and no, there is no need for a BOV on our roots type supercharger... its possible to make one but it is not practical at all

Yes use search bar. Just in case you dont. People have put a bov on the sc yes. But they are usless. The sc puches air because of the force feed from the rotors and ect so therefor when you let off the engine sucks the excess boost. Yeah if you get a diaphram type bov like the HKS ssqv itll make a little churp but not much. The bypass valve on the sc is used so at idle and cruise the air bypasses the sc so one it dont creat heat and two better fuel mileage and ect and list goes on bro......
