C.A. H/E or Meth injection?
Ok What would cool my engine better?
Cobalt Addictions heat exchanger or water/meth injection? Recently it's been triple digit temps out here and my car is running really hot and my coolant is getting eaten up real fast.

The methanol does bring iat2s down a lot. I have it on my car. It also acts as an octane booster allowing you to run more timing. I don't know which cools better but i do know that the h/e won't boost octane.

ok bump this up for my question...
ok, meth-injection or dual-end plate and cobra heat exchanger?
which is safer for the motor and which is harder to install?
im thinking of the devils own progressive kit which is $305 + all the meth. the heat exchanger is about $150 with the brackets and the endplate is about $259 + all the tubing and supplies to install. so what do ya think???

i was reading on another thread that meth requires a tune to fully optimize performance and i
dont know if the heat exchanger does but since it requires a tune if your engine dies because
of it i spose they could prove it was a result of a faulty tune giving them the right to void your
warranty

you dont need a tune the only thing meth dose is cool the heatston and allow you to run more timming along with boost and let you do this with no knock if u put it on a stock ss/sc yo might get more pull and lower IAT2 temp now as for the progressive kit i dont have that one i got the one with the boost switch and i have not had any tunning issues with it i mean you can tune finer with the progressive kit but it up to yous on what you want if you ask me it i love the meth IAT2 temps dont go above 140 at wot and im running 20psi with 25* timming
