I too called Cobalt Addicition and they told me to do a search here to find ideas since they don't have any instructions.

You don't have to take off the bumper to do the install, but it makes everything a little easier. I spent about three hours installing this...and I had to do a little modifications to the bracket (extended the length)......so that it was pefectly centered and there was enough clearance that you won't break the petcock off.

I did remove the stock heat exchanger...which is between the a/c condensor and radiator.

HOPE THIS HELPS and GOOD LUCK!

Here are some images to give you an idea.

I had it installed with the stock one removed. Gains were good enough. also on mine the brackets went in through the bumper support, not underneath.

hoe clamps to the pump and res... it's an AN fitting to the H/E,.
and the worst part about the install is bleeding the system... just takes awhile.
also I recommend used redline water wetter, or royal purple "purple ice" to further increase cooling capacity along with topping it off with a 50/50 mix of dexcool and water

I ran it in series with the stock unit and mounted it the other way around with the drain on the top r and used is as a bleeder.

I still run the stock one with the CA, I do Road Coarse now and then. For normal street driving the CA one alone is ok for ocassional track run it throught the Stock one first then the CA one.
