So I'm rebuilding my engine and thinkin of running a 3.1 pulley and zzp stage 2 cams ,but I don't know if 42s will supply enough fuel till 8k rpm. Any insight on this is much appreciated.

Staged has 42's just enough on his set up of a Gm ported head, stg 1 cams and 2.9 on the h62

Yeah you CAN do it but whether you should is a different issue. Id say go for it but just watch those idcs you may need to upgrade eventually.

Yes, you can. As others have said watch your injector pulse widths and air fuel ratio.

Make sure you are running the GMPP 42's though, the Lucas 42's actually flow a little less than them at 58psi rail pressure.

My fuel pump rewire has really helped with top end fuel flow. I'll be re dynoing this fall, and reving her out.

My limiter is set at 7750rpm, and I have a nice consistent air fuel ratio throughout the rpm band (11.6-11.9 depending on temp).
