Paul, great numbers so far man. Car sounds great.
Hey, do you have a boost leak tester? If not you should make one. It's pretty cheap to do, and they are awsome at finding leaks you didn't even know were there! Trust me the Integra benefitted greatly from it.
Also, what are you using for a boost controller? That's most likely your issue, not the spring inside the wastegate.

**** with the setup I have now 350whp should be easy, if I can get it to hold boost, just dropped off right after it hit. I think it's just the wastgate spring is too light, and the BOV leaks. Swapping to a tial bov and wastegate in about 2 weeks, and heading back to that same dyno in a month with new numbers. This week installing the bigger TB and boost leak testing friday night to see where I"m loosing pressure from.

exactly what alpha jaguar said, its just like the twinscrew was in theory gonna make more hp on lower boost.. its all about air flow, not restriction.
nice numbers though, its only 30 whp higher then what u put out on your heaton all maxed out, but has way more potential
just make sure u do internal and a clutch already haha.

Your kidding right . Comparing 18 psi on that tiny little maxed out dual scroll with a way safe factory tune with stock sized cold and hot pipes and exhaust

True that man. I drove a Solstice GXP a couple weeks ago, and I can say that the tune is way safe for sure. There is plenty more to be had out of it with some tuning, as there is indeed a lot more to be had out of Paul's setup.

No I am not kidding. The LNF has VVT and SIDI which gives it an advantage of the LSJ.
But you have some good points. I didn't realize the LNF was so choked off.
BTW congrats on the Turbo Cobalt Paul.. You are just 7 hp north my mine on nitrous. Wonder who's would win on the drag strip.
I am still completely stock internal's wise. NEw motor is going to be build by NRG, ported head, 272 cams, GT3076, and a few other goodies. Just gotta get the cash together for that now.
oh yeah and a friend of mine (AHA automotive) is going to help me do the fuel system very soon and offer it as a kit. So please people let me know who'd be interested in picking one up.
thanks guys.
As for the boost controller I have a turbosmart MBC, which I'll also be swapping out soon. Car still goes lean up top for some reason, I am starting to think is is definitely the fuel system and not the clutch (which wasn't slipping btw, it was tire spin). Also as Darksun said, this dyno everyone averaged 30whp lower than the other shop we dyno at. so If I dyno'd there I'd probably would have been at 355+whp (which is where all my last dyno's were)
Now to the fuel system. I just need to get the cash together to buy all the necassary parts. Might just modify the stock fuel rail and use that with the return setup and new high pressure pump. Probably just end up going with an in tank walbro, since we want to make this as easy a swap for everyone. I really wanted to run the aeromotive A1000 pump and matching regulator, but that would require some significant modification to the fuel tank, which I know most people doing this work, won't be able to do in their backyard.
well more updates to come, boost leak testing friday night to chase down where I"m losing all my boost.
