fuel system clog?

something screwy in the fuel side of the map itself perhaps?

Paul put out 356 whp at 6000 rpms on 22 psi 18 degrees of timing today. I don't know his tq but it was 307 tq on his 246whp pull His boost controller wouldn't hold anything over 22 psi so that what he worked with. He has vids and stuff he'll post later. He's still on stock clutch too so i really don't know what some of these other guys are complaining about.....

I think the injectors are too big for the pcm to properly control. There are things in the os that uses the ifr's to determine pulsewitdth that we don't have access to with hp tuners. Maybe I' out to lunch but this is just my opinion.

356/315 today uncorrected woot. vids loading up soon.
sorta fixed the fueling problem, well at least it didn't lean out.

1st pull 343/307
turbo cobalt, 1st pull of the day @21psi

2nd pull 347/311
2nd pull 22 psi 347whp 311wtq.

3rd pull 356/315
3rd pull, couldn't get it to boost higher than 22.35psi due to the boost controller.

you got it man. I'll see what they say, but I know they really don't do installs that much anymore. I've been dyno'ing at another shop local and i think they wouldn't mind doing it.

hmm good idea. I need to replace the stock fuel pump though as it is giving up at high rpms hence why my hp peaked at 6k rpm. was still leaning out but only to 11.99 or so. I'll post up the screen shots of the logs tonight whenI get home.
as for the turbo looking for a t3/t4 60 trim for the next step. Should have a walbro 255lph pump in this week and hopefully have the return line and the rest done in the next 2-3 weeks after. blowing the turbo kinda fucked my budget up a little lol.

you need to build turbo kits, you'd probably sell more than the vendors

lol probably.
I'm working on a little something something right now though. Trying to make some manifolds with some stainless pipe I have laying around. If they work out, I might at least start selling those.
But from looking at my logs, I definitely need some cams to keep up with airflow at high rpms. According to my Maf and ve airflow #'s I was at 53-54lb/min on the dyno. So that's some serious airflow, and pretty much maxed out this turbo. So time for something alittle bigger.

the commanded afr is related to the voltage it see's. my commanded in pe has never deviated from what i set it at. actual on the other hand gets scewed due to the meth, which im fine with. it's rarely .3 off anyways. idle on the other hand, has a mind of it's own. especially when i try and idle at 750. low rpms, lower voltage being present, wacked out cmnd. since i have raised the idle to 850, i have not had an issue with the cmnd doing anything stupid. i just have to work on the freaking idle surge tonight. blah.
