thanks man, it's hasn't been an easy ride, but I think I got her pretty dialed in, just one little rich issue down low I need to clean up, just really haven't had the time.

That's what happens when you get a shitty knock off ebay turbo. I bet when Paul gets a real good turbo, his tuning issues and little quirks will be all worked out. R&D, gotta love it!

Paul, what are your plans for the IDC's? If you got the RKSport fuel pressure regulator, you could kick the pressure up to lower the IDC's. Just a thought.

Or setup a return-style fuel system using the following:

Walbro GSS342 fuel pump.
Aeromotive A-1000 fuel pressure regulator

Is that walbro a direct fit? Damn these returnless style fuel systems. My damn Integra is so much easier to mod than my Cobalt.

The GSS342 is longer than the stock pump. The in-tank pump is "inline". Just replace the stock pump and when closing the "black module inside the tank" you'll see that you can't. Just tie with straps. Got some photos here.

In my case, I went to a dyno for fuel tuning. Set AFR@10.8

look at the logs. the injectors are done. 20+ ms. ouch. so. in "theory" the pump itself is done at what. 330 fwhp? which inturn causes the injectors to go close to static. or is it the fact that paul is commanding 10.8, but running 12.0 afr. still doesn't make sense to me. one of three things. the pump is done, the maf is skewed something fierce, or there is a booger in the fuel map somewhere?

Well its not every car. but think of this. he wouldn't be the first car to loose out on #'s cause of a clutch.....LOL. Seriously though.... my clutch is a dud, it works well for street but at the strip it can loose its ability to stay clamped on the disk. You have to drive it alot and have it happen to you to believe it. enough said...

sorta fixed the fueling problem, well at least it didn't lean out.

1st pull 343/307
turbo cobalt, 1st pull of the day @21psi

2nd pull 347/311
2nd pull 22 psi 347whp 311wtq.

3rd pull 356/315
3rd pull, couldn't get it to boost higher than 22.35psi due to the boost controller.
Great #'s. I would love to see the Dyno map. can you post those?

What gear are you pulling in?
I saw the dyno screen. you pulled 356 early on then torque and HP fell off from there. you think it is due to just the fueling or just turbo or combination of problems?

Good work. hopefully you can build it up to do even more in the higher RPM band.

It was losing fuel pressure up top, but I also setup it up to keep TQ low since as said before, still rocking the stock clutch. As also stated many times, it has never slipped, no even on slicks in the 50+ passes I've had on the car.
But fuel is definitely an issue. from my readings my maf tables are spot on, so I'm pretty sure it's a delivery problem, also I really should change the fuel filter since it's the original one lol.
and for the injectors, when it's cold they hit 25+ ms and over 143% IDC. so I need to find a solution, and soon... also according to my maf and VE readings I had this turbo maxed out at 54.84 lb/min of airflow, so I guess it's time for something bigger.... and better of course.
