some vids from today

bad news is I killed my clutch on the last pull WOT into 3rd, seems like it's coming back but it went straight to the rev limiter... oh well stocker last longer than I thought, almost 30,000 miles on it now

I'll have to logon to the wireless later to check it out. Paul finally, you killed the damn stock clutch! I have no idea how you made it this far, but it finally happened. People mark this day in your books!

lol, well it's actually holding fine again, guess I just over heated it yesterday. I dunno how, but this damn stocker is still alive. But wil soon be replaced by the exedy hyper. I just don't know how I'm gonna hold the power I will be making.

yeah just a little lol.
I dunno she felt fine this morning, guess the multiple back to back 0-100 pulls put too much heat in it

My stocker had over 130 drag passes on it and it looked perfect when we pulled it out

Only 8 of those were stock...the rest were stage 3 +

yeah I have about 50+ track passes, 18 on slicks, probably about 300+ street pulls' to a 1/4 mile though. Never slipped before yesterday, and it's been fine since.

hey, kinda off topic but what codec/software are you using to encode your videos? The resolution was pretty good for a vid streaming off the web on my crappy 384k dsl.

My friend converted to n264 (or something 264) from the HD codec

**** came out nice. He's a professional video editor and whatnot, films commercials in the city. He had 2 cameras to play with yesterday so we took a little film. More to come in a full length DVD in the summer,

Damn man! That is a sweet turbo setup, ya my clutch is wasted as well......1st slips to the rev limiter, the shift into second i think im burning out but my clutch slips, sometimes when i get on it from a 40 punch my clutch wont even grab, hahaha, my stage 5 is going in very very soon. But i got 68k on my stocker! nitrous passes, slick passes, she finnaly gave out on me.

Well spoke to Bill hahn today, clutch masters is coming out with a sick twin disk setup. Guess what I'll be ordering lol. Exedy isn't gonna hold the power I'll be making with the new motor unfortunately.

Techincally the Exedy isn't rated for more than ~270whp for drag use. They sent me a PDF with all their ratings depending what your doing with it.

It has been proven to hold up a lot more than that though.

Exactly, but like I said, plenty of people have it and are over that power level. Dan has it on his redline which is easily 350-375whp.

Yeah, I know. The stock definately isn't rated at this level and I'm well over 10K w/ no issues. I'm sure the Exedy should be fine for my goals. ~350whp DD.

Exedy has a solid twin disc setup as well. Exedy > CM IMO. Then again, on my Cobalt I had Spec 3+ w/ Spec flywheel and had 0 issues. Loved it.

I don't know if it's on the market yet though, has to be close. Dan tried being the test dummy for it but they wouldn't let him :/

well since I'll be making @450-500whp when the new motor goes in, I'm gonna need something more than that.
